At the Area 22 Pool & Snooker evening, held at Riley's in Hanley on the 16th February, Stoke Wedgwood Round Table battled against Newport to win the Area Pool competition.
The Wedgwood team, John Whalley and Nigel Browning played brilliantly against the formidable Newport duo of Mark Ashton and Bryan Cutter to snatch Wedgwood's second Area trophy of the year.
